Flo Beaurivage needs to scream, to cry, to wail… but where? When you grow up there is nowhere left in society where you are allowed to be loud. But Flo cannot contain her screams anymore and finds herself at the edge of the sea almost as if something was calling her there all along. Told with a combination of poetic text, a drum set, and two performers, Le Criard/The Screamer will entertain, engage, and maybe even make you scream!

This is an English World Premiere of a play originally written and performed in French. Our Co-Artistic & Managing Director Dave Deveau translated text by Carol Cassistat, the Artistic Director of Théâtre du Gros Mécano.

Performed by our very own Co-Artistic & Managing Director Jennica Grienke and a drummer on a full drum kit, this is a never-before-seen highly unusual adventure!

Recommended for Ages 10+

Théâtre du Gros Mécano Production, in partnership with Carousel Theatre for Young People.
